Many past Operalia winners have already become international opera stars with engagements at the world’s most important opera houses.

Although it remains to be statistically proven, whilst glancing through the cast listings of opera houses around the world, one has the distinct impression that there is at least one Operalia laureate performing in every major opera house of the world at least once per season.
